Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with event management software
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
- Familiarity with event management software, hotel property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed, executable plans
- Serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between departments
- Conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs, communicate event details with precision, and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism
- Support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative, on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, upselling, and guest satisfaction enhancements
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings
- Partner closely with Sales, Catering, and Operations teams to deliver a unified and elevated client experience
