Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years experience in event planning or convention services management
- proficiency with event management software
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- strong interpersonal skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Manage all details of convention, group, and social events from contract turnover through post-event follow-up
- conduct pre-conference meetings with clients and department leaders to confirm logistics, timelines, menus, and room setups
- create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and distribute them to all relevant departments
- supervise event setup and execution, ensuring service standards and client expectations are met or exceeded
- serve as on-site contact for clients responding promptly to requests and resolving any issues
- build and maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, and social event hosts
- provide consultative support on event design, decor, and technical needs to enhance client satisfaction and event quality
- follow up post-event to review outcomes, gather feedback, and encourage repeat business
- upsell resort amenities, upgrades, and services to maximize profitability
- partner closely with culinary, banquet, AV, and front office teams to ensure operational excellence
- communicate event details clearly and proactively across departments
- participate in weekly BEO meetings and staff briefings to review upcoming events
