Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • ability to travel 25%
  • availability for overtime and weekend work as needed
  • proactive and able to multitask efficiently
  • strong time management and prioritization skills
  • excellent problem-solving attitude
  • intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • familiarity with venues, facilities, and convention centers

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • knowledge of event industry terminology
  • sponsorship fulfillment experience
  • tradeshow and registration processes familiarity
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with exhibit management software and CRM systems is a plus
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • coordinate all pre-event and onsite event execution
  • create venue, audiovisual specs, and food and beverage plans
  • assign meeting space
  • manage revenue and expense assumptions and adhere to budget
  • create housing blocks and understand hotel contractual commitments
  • review vendor proposals and negotiate agreements
  • develop and implement event registration policies and procedures
  • oversee exhibitor space selection process
  • create trade show floor plans
  • fulfill sponsor company partner programs
  • bring innovation to event planning
