Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience managing employees under collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively
  • Knowledge of health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant culinary experience
  • Previous experience managing employees under collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and inventory management
  • Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • Proficient in financial management and labor productivity analysis

Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Execute development and execution of menu strategies to produce short-term profitability
  • Implement and enforce policies, operating procedures, training programs, menus, rules and regulations for kitchen staff
  • Maintain highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness within all kitchen areas
  • Manage human resources responsibilities including creating a positive work environment, coaching, counseling, recognition, hiring, training, and succession planning
  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints effectively
  • Collaborate with service team to ensure seamless kitchen and dining room service experience
