Job Duties
- process financial transactions including but not limited to cash checks credit cards food stamps WIC loyalty cards gift certificates bottle refunds voids and coupons accurately and in accordance with company policy
- assist in receiving unloading and stocking products in required areas of the store
- responsible for front-end duties such as running the cash register suggestive selling enrolling guests in loyalty program maintaining a clean and neat service area
- ensure proper use of product identification and corresponding PLUs report errors in pricing or signage
- maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
- communicate company programs in-store specials and coupons to customers and model high standards of service
- comply with company policies regarding security cash handling product handling the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
- maintain a clean and well-stocked department and outside grounds ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation procedures
- assist with stocking items on the sales floor cooler and back room
- follow all PPE and safety guidelines
- follow all food safety and cleaning expectations
- follow guest experience guidelines
- perform tasks in other departments as assigned
- additional responsibilities as needed
