Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma
- Five years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Five years of experience in heavy transport aircraft
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10 percent)
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
- Must be able to work flexible hours during day and night operations
- Willing to work overtime as operationally required
- May need to acquire and maintain United States Customs Clearance depending on location
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of the position with no visa sponsorship
Job Qualifications

- Preferred bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
- Two years of maintenance control experience (heavy transport)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and digital manuals
- Ability to stay focused and work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Previous leadership experience
Job Duties
- Use real time aircraft monitoring applications to provide proactive resolution of in-service discrepancies
- Serve as central point of contact for front line crewmembers, business partners and all aircraft maintenance related matters
- Supervise and coordinate all unscheduled maintenance functions per JetBlue procedures
- Act as focal point within the System Operations Center for all aircraft maintenance related items and provide bidirectional communications
- Provide real time recovery support and technical advice for out of service aircraft liaising with various departments
- Maintain constant surveillance of overall line station maintenance activity supporting JetBlue and contract maintenance
- Apply and oversee the JetBlue Airways deferred maintenance process and track repair requirements
