Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- must be able to pass drug screening, driver's license verification and validation, federal fingerprinting, security threat assessment, and airport security badging
- ability to work within a 24/7 operation with varying shifts
- must be detail-oriented and observant
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- must be able to undergo a 10-year background check and obtain/maintain security clearance
- must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- experience with computer software applications such as MS Office and ERP
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to maintain composure under stress
- ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals including executives and managers
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- versatility and flexibility to work with changing priorities
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Report on BHS alarms/events to inspect, clear blockages/jams, and repair failed equipment as appropriate
- coordinate personnel and resources to ensure minimum service requirements are maintained
- coordinate with stakeholders and BHS related inquiries by person/telephone in a courteous and efficient manner
- remain attentive to the condition of the entire BHS to respond immediately to events, blockages, jams, E-Stops, faults, security issues, equipment malfunction, incorrect operation, incorrect routing of baggage, power outages
- be proficient and trained on proper use of all equipment and interfaces within the BHS control room including workstations based on Microsoft Windows, customized monitoring applications, radios, telephone systems, and reporting tools
- implement call tree notifications based on equipment failures and fallback procedures
- perform startup procedures
- support control room operations and comply with safety and compliance training as required
