Job Requirements

  • Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • must be able to work 100% onsite
  • willingness to visit and work at multiple PacBio locations as required
  • ability to perform all listed essential job functions
  • commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity
  • ability to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse material handling experience
  • experience in receiving, stockroom, material handling, and inventory analysis roles
  • experience in a life science environment
  • knowledge of shipping cold chain temperature-sensitive materials and dangerous goods
  • ability to work as a self-starter and a team player
  • flexibility to take on evolving challenges
  • experience in implementing and improving cycle count programs and KANBAN systems
  • experience in both large and small manufacturing environments
  • proven track record of accuracy and efficiency
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ability to exercise independent judgment and recommend cost-effective methods

Job Duties

  • Receive and process incoming material
  • securely and safely store materials
  • issue material to work orders and other uses
  • ensure all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system
  • perform cycle counts
  • analyze inventory discrepancies
  • perform assigned duties in a timely and accurate manner
  • ensure all inventory control activities meet company schedules and budgets
