Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check under state regulations
- ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers frequently
- ability to reach with hands and arms
- ability to occasionally balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- must be able to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- must demonstrate good hygiene and professional appearance
- must have appropriate customer service skills
- ability to work flexible part-time hours from 12pm to 2pm Monday through Friday
- ability to perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing for long periods
- willingness to work in environments with moderate to high noise levels
- ability to adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience or minimal education required
- ability to read, alphabetize, or arrange numerically preferred
- ability to deal with standardized situations using simple one or two-step instructions preferred
- capability to work professionally with other department personnel
- ability to count and organize by dates, read, alphabetize, collate, letter fold, stuff, and label envelopes
- proficiency in operating computers and scan machines
- alertness, accuracy, and attentiveness during repetitive tasks
- ability to use a scanner and copier effectively
- ability to distinguish clean from dirty items
- strong teamwork skills
- ability to work in public as part of dishwashing and janitorial crew
- good hygiene and professional dress
- appropriate customer service skills
- ability to follow directions and receive supervision from multiple supervisors
Job Duties
- Adhere to and demonstrate core values, mission, policies, and compliance plans in all aspects of the position
- operate computers to monitor quality input from scanners
- operate scanners for various tasks
- manually or mechanically wash and rinse dishes, glasses, and silverware while maintaining proper sterilization temperature
- sort dishes and silverware by size and type
- perform janitorial duties including use of dustpan, broom, and mop in high foot traffic areas
- pick up and discard debris such as newspapers, empty cups, and other trash items from floors, chairs, and countertops
- complete required company training and safety training for assigned contract sites
- participate in meetings as directed
- perform other tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel
