Job Requirements

  • Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification required
  • Minimum five years recent experience as a CPC controlling live traffic or contract instructor at an FAA facility
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full-time day shift
  • No remote work potential
  • Willingness to adhere to FAA and contract policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
  • Minimum of five years recent experience controlling live air traffic as a CPC or recent contract instructor at a similar FAA facility
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Strong teaching and classroom management skills
  • Experience with current ATC automation and simulation systems
  • Curriculum development experience preferred
  • At least one year of supervisory or managerial experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Job Duties

  • Manage overall delivery of contract training and training support at the FAA Regional Training Site
  • Communicate effectively with FAA and contract personnel to ensure contract compliance
  • Execute the CTS contract requirements and maintain adherence to quality standards
  • Manage human and budgetary resources to achieve performance objectives
  • Assist in developing and implementing training plans and curriculum
  • Develop and maintain training materials and instructional content
  • Conduct classroom training and support training administration
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of air traffic control automation and simulation systems
  • Provide supervisory oversight to training staff and operations
