Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Four years of related professional experience
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record if using a personal or City vehicle
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Compliance with TSA employment disqualifiers
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely if required
  • Employment eligibility for a full-time regular position
  • Proficiency in contract administration and compliance monitoring

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, urban planning, architecture, engineering, construction management, economics, or a related field
  • Four years of responsible experience in urban development, redevelopment, business assistance, capital improvement, design and/or construction projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Understanding of A.R. 3.10 or basic procurement principles
  • Ability to develop clear and effective reports and presentations
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP Enterprise and eProcurement systems preferred
  • Experience in contract negotiation and administration preferred
  • Experience acting as a liaison between end-users and vendors preferred
  • Experience in writing business reports, contracts, and scope of work preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop contract scopes of services and specifications
  • Oversee contract execution and compliance
  • Manage contract spend and budget monitoring
  • Supervise professional-level contract monitoring staff
  • Research and recommend new contract opportunities
  • Conduct industry benchmarking
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement new contracts and programs
