Job Requirements

  • Variable hours including late-night shifts depending on event timing

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of janitorial management experience, preferably in high-volume or event-based settings
  • Proven ability to manage large teams (50+ employees), including hourly and supervisory staff
  • Strong understanding of cleaning protocols, chemical safety, and equipment usage
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily and event-specific janitorial operations across multiple facility zones
  • Oversee pre-event preparations, during-event maintenance, and post-event deep cleaning
  • Recruit, train, and manage a large team of custodial staff, including leads and supervisors
  • Monitor staffing levels and reassign resources as needed to meet operational demands
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health standards, as well as company policies
  • Coordinate with event planners, facility managers, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Track inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate replenishment with procurement
  • Respond to urgent requests and deploy rapid response teams during event activities
  • Prepare and submit reports related to staffing, service quality, and client satisfaction
  • Conduct site inspections and provide coaching or corrective action as needed
