Job Requirements
- Candidate must have active secret clearance and be able to qualify and hold SAP clearance
- Final clearance adjudication within the last five years
- Must have in-depth knowledge of military publications
- Understanding of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft training operations
- Prior experience delivering military pilot academics and simulator training
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership traits
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required
- Must have worked in naval aviation environment interacting with diverse functional areas and personnel
- US Citizen for security clearance consideration
Job Qualifications
- Appropriate degree from accredited college or equivalent experience
- Professional naval aviation experience
- Specialized training commensurate with assignment
- In-depth knowledge of military publications
- Understanding of fourth and fifth generation aircraft training operations
- Experience delivering military pilot academics and simulator training
- Familiarity with current instructional techniques and delivery methods
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership traits
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Previous experience as F-35B pilot or contractor instructor pilot
- 1000+ hours fighter flight time waiverable
- Experience with Japan Air Self-Defense Force customer
- Familiarity with Japan flight rules, procedures, and operations
- Familiarity with F-35 tactics and procedures
- Familiarity with Pacific theatre customers and mission
- Familiarity with F-35 program requirements
- Familiarity with F-35 ALIS program
Job Duties
- Execute pilot training center operations in support of Japanese Air Self-Defense Force
- Provide pilot training using F-35B Full Mission Simulator
- Operate Instructor Operating Station
- Serve as subject matter expert supporting pilot training and tactics development
- Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies
- Provide academic training through electronic mediated lectures and interactive courseware
- Comply with site security and access control procedures
- Instruct pilots in naval aviation flight procedures and techniques
- Prepare lesson plans
- Assist in preparation of schedules and maintenance of training records
- Evaluate and monitor students' performance
