Job Requirements
- Hold a secret level security clearance
- have special access program (SAP) access
- prior experience as a fighter or instructor pilot
- relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience
- capability to deliver academic and simulation-based training
- commitment to meet training objectives and standards
Job Qualifications
- An appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
- professional experience in fighter pilot operations
- specialized training relevant to pilot instruction
- ability to operate flight simulators and training devices
- strong communication and instructional skills
- ability to maintain security clearance compliance
Job Duties
- Provide F-35 instructor pilot and subject matter expert instruction
- deliver academic training utilizing electronic mediated lecture and interactive courseware
- instruct flight procedures using pilot training devices
- operate full mission simulators and mission rehearsal trainers
- serve as subject matter expert for pilot training courseware updates
- assist in preparation of training schedules and maintain training records
- evaluate and monitor students' performance
