Job Requirements
- Active secret clearance with investigation or continuous vetting within 5 years
- U.S. citizenship
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS for extended periods
- Experience as a pilot of fourth and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft
- Two ship lead military certification
- Operational experience with advanced sensor systems
- Prior military pilot academic and simulator training experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite at MCAS Miramar
- Able to comply with physical and security requirements
- No remote work available for this position
Job Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge as a pilot of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems
- Achieved two ship lead military certification
- Operational experience with advanced sensor systems including Night Vision devices, EO/IR targeting, Helmet Mounted Cuing, air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons
- Prior experience delivering military pilot academics and simulator training
- Familiar with current instructional techniques and delivery methods
- Ability to interact with diverse functional areas and personnel
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to organize and provide excellent customer satisfaction
- Active secret clearance with investigation or continuous vetting within 5 years
- Ability to qualify for Special Access Required programs
Job Duties
- Fly the F-35 simulator leading students with two and four ship flight lead proficiency
- Instruct academic training using Electronic Mediated Lecture and Interactive Courseware
- Deliver fleet training operating Instructor Operating Stations
- Collaborate with Lockheed Martin team and Marine Corps squadrons to meet training objectives
- Update briefs and tactical lectures using MS Office
- Create new training events as directed
- Support additional tasks to uphold pilot training excellence
