Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience as a pilot instructor in military or related aerospace field
- Demonstrated knowledge of F-35 pilot training syllabus and operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to operate Instructor Operating Stations and Full Mission Simulators
- Willingness to travel to various F-35 training sites as required
- Commitment to upholding Lockheed Martin's values of integrity and excellence
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field preferred
- Proven experience as a military or civilian pilot instructor especially in fighter aircraft
- Excellent knowledge of F-35 pilot training systems and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with simulator operations and training devices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Provide F-35 instructor pilot and subject matter expert instruction
- Deliver academic training utilizing Electronic Mediated Lecture and Interactive Courseware
- Instruct flight procedures in Pilot Training Devices according to the approved pilot training syllabus
- Operate Instructor Operating Stations and provide instruction using Full Mission Simulators and other training devices
- Act as a subject matter expert for pilot training courseware updates
- Collaborate with Lockheed Martin training teams at multiple sites to meet F-35 training objectives
- Support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed
- Augment training objectives and instruction at F-35 operational and training sites as needed
