Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, aviation, engineering, or related field
  • Relevant flight and instructor pilot experience
  • Ability to operate advanced flight simulators and training systems
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to other training or operational sites
  • Commitment to Lockheed Martin's ethics and safety standards
  • U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as an instructor pilot or in a related aviation training role
  • Proficiency in using flight simulators and training devices
  • Knowledge of F-35 pilot training syllabus and procedures
  • Strong communication and instructional skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Subject matter expertise in pilot training courseware
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin aerospace and defense operations

Job Duties

  • Provide F-35 instructor pilot and subject matter expert instruction
  • Deliver academic training using Electronic Mediated Lecture and Interactive Courseware
  • Instruct flight procedures using Pilot Training Devices according to approved syllabus
  • Operate Full Mission Simulators and other Pilot Training Devices
  • Manage Instructor Operating Stations
  • Serve as subject matter expert for pilot training courseware updates
  • Collaborate with training teams at JRB - Ft. Worth to fulfill F-35 training objectives
  • Support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies
  • Augment training objectives and instruction at other F-35 sites as needed
