  • Active secret clearance with completed adjudicated investigation in last 5 years
  • ability to attain and maintain F-35 Special Access Program access
  • experience as Military Instructor Pilot and multi-ship flight lead in tactical fighter aircraft
  • willingness to support flexible work hours
  • ability to participate in deployed operations
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • proficiency with basic MS Office suite
  • proven success in instructional products and student pilot evaluation

Job Qualifications

  • Active secret security clearance with adjudicated investigation within last 5 years
  • experience as Military Instructor Pilot and multi-ship flight lead in tactical fighter aircraft
  • strong verbal communication skills and basic proficiency with MS Office suite
  • proven experience with instructional products and services
  • knowledge of F-35 program, pilot training curriculum, and system
  • experience with Full Mission Simulators
  • minimum 1,000 flight hours in fourth- or fifth-generation fighter aircraft
  • prior experience delivering military pilot academic and simulator training
  • familiarity with advanced sensor systems like NVS, LANTIRN, Helmet Mounted Cuing
  • graduate of formal Military Academic Instructor Course
  • experience as instructor in Formal Training Unit or Fleet Replacement Squadron
  • completion of Fighter Weapons Instructor Course, Fighter Weapons School, or Weapons and Tactics Instructor course
  • Standardization/Evaluation Flight Examiner or NATOPS Evaluator experience

Job Duties

  • Conduct F-35 continuation and upgrade training for Italian Air Force and Italian Navy pilots
  • instruct and lead Mission Qualification Training (MQT) and Flight Lead Upgrade (FLUG) missions
  • conduct CIP-designated syllabus tasks for Basic, Transition, and Senior Officer formal courses
  • provide academic and pilot training device instruction adhering to published standards
  • instruct using Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML), Interactive Courseware (ICW), and Pilot Training Devices
  • operate and instruct from Instructor Operating Stations or Full Mission Simulators/Mission Rehearsal Trainers
  • evaluate and record student training, debrief errors, and coordinate corrective actions
  • conduct student academic evaluations ensuring 100 percent accuracy
  • assist students and conduct aircrew training device missions
  • maintain expertise on F-35 platform, tactics, weapons systems, and device qualifications
  • provide mission replication support including Forward Air Controller, Airborne Intercept Controller, Air Traffic Control, and threat simulation
  • support lesson plan and mission guide revisions, aircrew training device scenario design, and courseware updates
  • collaborate with Lockheed and Italian training teams to achieve training objectives
  • implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed
