Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three years increasingly responsible experience in contract management, preparation or compliance
  • Must successfully pass all background investigations conducted by Aviation
  • Must maintain federally mandated security clearance required to work at an airport at all times
  • Must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment upon employment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Three years increasingly responsible experience in contract management, preparation or compliance
  • Experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience in contract management standards, planning, solicitation processes, and contract monitoring and compliance practices
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, policies, procedures, regulations, advisor circulars pertaining to contracts
  • Experience with SAP
  • Construction contract administration

Job Duties

  • Implements the practices and procedures established for contract initiation, monitoring, or compliance
  • Performs initiation, monitoring, or compliance activities for City contracts
  • Prepares detailed written reports and presentations regarding contracting projects
  • Performs special reviews, projects, and programs, and may prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Provides technical assistance and direction regarding contract compliance
  • Provides staff support as required for special projects
  • Provides direction to staff regarding improvements to contracting procedures
  • Supervises staff and gives direction regarding contract compliance issues and related matters
  • Oversees all negotiations, terminations, and renegotiations of contracts
  • Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules
  • Develops contract compliance work plans and objectives
  • Conducts presentations regarding contracting projects
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as required
