Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One year previous experience at a financial institution or call center preferred
- Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 15 lbs
- Capable of climbing stairs in emergencies
- Proficient with office equipment and computer use for 6-8 hours daily
- Willingness to work extended hours or travel to main branch as required
- Regular, reliable and timely attendance
- Able to work indoors in a moderate noise climate-controlled environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Maintain composure under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in a financial institution or call center environment preferred
- Consistently meets or exceeds sales and service goals
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Resourceful, detail oriented, able to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Displays diplomacy, patience, and tact
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient multitasker
- Ability to exercise judgment and creative problem solving
- Professional service attitude with effective follow up
Job Duties
- Receiving member interactions by telephone, live chat or email
- Fielding and effectively responding to member questions
- Determining purpose of the call and identifying products, services or resources required
- Educating members on additional products or services
- Providing direct support services or connecting members to appropriate staff or departments
- Performing teller functions such as transfers, balances, account history, loan payments
- Troubleshooting debit card issues, resetting PINs, and account maintenance
- Assisting members with electronic services enrollment
- Adhering to procedures and security protocols to protect member data
- Completing standard and enhanced verifications as needed
