Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- good attendance and punctual
- ability to work independently and in a team setting
Job Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- good attendance and punctuality
- ability to work independently and in a team setting
- experience with SAP preferred
- prior experience or internship in the construction or building materials industry preferred
- prior experience with Bluebeam, AGTEK, P6 and other construction industry software preferred
Job Duties
- Complete safety and OSHA training and any other site or job specific required training
- carry-out and practice all safety training and company policies in the CalPortland workplace
- assist estimators with quantity take-offs and quote requests
- assist project managers with material ordering, subcontractor scheduling, measurement and billing
- assist with building a reporting process that can review and qualify all operating and ownership cost
- learn about other CalPortland departments and interface as required
- attend Summer Intern Day event in Las Vegas, NV
- perform other divisional tasks as assigned
