Job Requirements

  • two or more years of conference services experience in hospitality preferred
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • customer service oriented with focus on anticipating client needs
  • knowledge of menu planning and food and beverage standards
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • vendor management experience
  • proficient in computer applications, Delphi preferred
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • innovative with ability to offer unique catering solutions
  • strong time management and grace under pressure
  • availability for a flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • coordinate with clients, national sales, and hotel teams to execute banquet functions and manage room blocks
  • prepare detailed event orders, resumes, and diagrams for groups
  • manage group billing and ensure accurate invoicing
  • provide exceptional customer service to maximize re-booking and upsell opportunities
  • oversee menu planning and ensure quality and presentation standards
  • solve problems and adapt to changing client needs
  • manage vendor relationships and logistical support for events
