Job Requirements
- Valid work authorization for the U.S.
- One to two years previous employment in a related position
- Ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Experience in luxury hotels or similar environments preferred

Job Duties
- Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate conferences, meetings, professional teams and entertainment once contracted through post-event follow-up
- Manage all aspects of events, including the room setup, catering and other special requests
- Oversee the execution of events/stay and troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Work cohesively with the culinary, banquets, front office and the operational team to deliver seamless service
- Drive revenue and exceed goals through upsells in banquets food and beverage to assigned groups
- Forecast food and beverage events for assigned groups
- Manage guestroom blocks to assigned groups and provide updates during group pick up meeting
- Communicate and provide solutions to clients about rooms and food and beverage attrition
- Provide excellent customer service and manage customer expectations
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, understanding their needs and working with them through execution of their event
- Maintain budgets, communicating to clients about estimated expenses
- Prepare and distribute event documents, such as Banquet Event Orders, Diagrams, Resume, and post-event reports
- Conduct pre-conference meetings and post-event meetings
- Lead planning site visits
