Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or CMP certification preferred
  • 2 to 3 years experience directly related to hotel conference services
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings
  • Proficiency in Golden Sales and Catering software, MS Word, Excel, and email and internet use

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary hotel contact for all group bookings post-contract
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of contractual obligations including deposit collection and rooming lists
  • Act as liaison with the Reservations Team to manage rooming list updates, special requests, and VIP accommodations
  • Provide on-site support by welcoming and assisting groups including high-profile clients
  • Negotiate and plan Private Dining events with clients through creative menu presentations and event proposals
  • Coordinate with Commercial and Food & Beverage Departments to ensure proper utilization of function space to maximize revenues
  • Finalize confirmed bookings, maximize revenue through up-selling, and ensure effective communication with all departments
  • Maintain an active trace/follow-up system and ensure accuracy of final checks and billing review
  • Supervise execution of Private Dining events and ensure client satisfaction
  • Plan or attend meetings with hotel staff and clients including sales and operations briefings
  • Make timely decisions balancing client needs with financial, safety, and staffing goals
  • Resolve challenges during group events and communicate promptly with managers
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, event spaces, and operational needs
  • Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • Assist Commercial and Food & Beverage teams during large group movements
  • Handle guest inquiries within the Commercial Department
  • Perform other assigned tasks
  • Maintain awareness of competitive resort facilities
  • Serve as liaison for vendor/supplier related client needs
  • Provide input for weekly forecasts
