Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Up to 2 years of job-related experience
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Ability to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for smaller meetings and events
  • Provide support for larger and more complex meetings as needed
  • Coordinate guest services including arrival, transportation, signage, special needs, printing, and security
  • Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors during events
  • Assist with conference room turnover and midday refresh
  • Reconfigure rooms for evening indoor and outdoor events
  • Gather event supplies and manage equipment needs
  • Oversee food and beverage services and facility security
  • Conduct room setups, refreshes, and removal of event items
  • Maintain outlines of small space configurations and decor possibilities
  • Perform room checks to ensure technical and visual functionality
  • Troubleshoot audio and technical issues
  • Manage small inventory of event supplies
  • Coordinate master meeting and event calendar for small to medium-sized spaces
  • Communicate event schedules to team and service providers
  • Assist with post-event reporting and issue escalation
  • Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems
  • Deliver outcomes under close supervision and guidance
