Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of hotel event planning experience
  • at least 1 year of food and beverage experience
  • knowledge of contract interpretation
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality CRM software
  • professional demeanor
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel event planning experience

Job Duties

  • Coordinate meetings, banquets, and special events
  • serve as the primary contact between guests and sales team
  • manage room blocks, food and beverage arrangements, event spaces, and billing
  • interpret and ensure compliance with contracts
  • resolve problems promptly and professionally
  • maintain communication with group and catering customers
  • uphold Margaritaville brand standards in all event planning
