Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year of experience using, applying, troubleshooting, and servicing distance learning/video conferencing software systems
- knowledgeable in the use of audiovisual equipment
- ability to provide exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette
- ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- proficiency with Microsoft 365/Google applications
- proficiency with computers including file and desktop management
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- willingness to travel independently
- maintain regular and reliable attendance, majority in-person/onsite
- serve at the will of the Executive Director
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year experience with distance learning/video conferencing software systems such as Zoom and GoToMeeting, preferably in an educational or training setting
- knowledgeable in audiovisual equipment use
- ability to provide exceptional customer service and telephone etiquette
- proficiency with Microsoft 365/Google applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
- proficiency with PC and/or MAC computers including file and desktop management and working in cloud-based or networked environments
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Set up conference rooms according to predetermined plan to accommodate various numbers of people
- prepare technical and audiovisual equipment for use in conferences, making sure they are in working order
- provide presenters with technical assistance as needed
- maintain conference room areas in a presentable condition
- comply with special requests as needed
- maintain coffee supplies in all areas of buildings 4/6
- keep all equipment and conference room closets neat and orderly
- change room configurations to suit the customers' needs, while remaining within compliance with the fire code
- move portable walls
- lift, carry, and move tables and chairs
- check restrooms in buildings 4/6 throughout the Conference Center, report identified issues to supervisor
- handle and respond to special or urgent conference room setup changes in a courteous and professional manner to keep clients and staff satisfied
- recognize items that need to be fixed, cleaned, etc. and take appropriate action
