Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in event or conference planning
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Availability to work flexible hours when necessary
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of planning experience
- Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
Job Duties
- Answer telephones and make reservations for clients
- Plan for use of the conference center
- Communicate with operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual
- Finalize all planning details with clients and distribute to all operating departments
- Check all conference rooms and ensure Audio Visual equipment are set according to customer standards before client arrival
- Provide business center services when requested
- Track information in the database and run end-of-day reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
