Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in event or conference planning
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Availability to work flexible hours when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of planning experience
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Job Duties

  • Answer telephones and make reservations for clients
  • Plan for use of the conference center
  • Communicate with operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual
  • Finalize all planning details with clients and distribute to all operating departments
  • Check all conference rooms and ensure Audio Visual equipment are set according to customer standards before client arrival
  • Provide business center services when requested
  • Track information in the database and run end-of-day reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
