Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of planning experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • 2 years of planning experience
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Job Duties

  • Answers telephones and makes reservations for clients
  • Plans for use of the conference center
  • Communicates to operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual as needed
  • Finalizes all planning details with clients and distributes to all operating departments
  • Checks all conference rooms and ensures Audio Visual equipment are set according to customer standards before client arrives
  • Provides business center services when requested
  • Tracks information in the database and runs end of day reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
