Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of planning experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of planning experience
- Keep abreast of industry trends and share information with staff
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
Job Duties
- Answers telephones and makes reservations for clients
- Plans for use of the conference center
- Communicates to operating departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual as needed
- Finalizes all planning details with clients and distributes to all operating departments
- Checks all conference rooms and ensures Audio Visual equipment are set according to customer standards before client arrives
- Provides business center services when requested
- Tracks information in the database and runs end of day reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
