Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working in customer service 6 months or more
  • experience working in event planning and/or event management 1 year or more
  • ability to work 40 hours per week
  • flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for all aspects of events including space, vendors, and staff
  • coordinates details and resolves operational issues
  • assists with planning and the creation of promotional materials and resources for events
  • communicates with customers to determine event details and requirements, evaluates requests, recommends service plans and pricing, and provides status updates
  • greets customers/guests, assists with registration, answers questions, and refers complex issues to appropriate entities
  • monitors and processes event-related transactions and event data and records
