Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in event coordination customer service or administrative support
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and peak events
  • Ability to travel between campus locations as required
  • Physical ability to stand walk for long periods and handle event equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required with relevant experience in event coordination customer service or administrative support
  • An associate degree in Business Hospitality Event Management or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks timelines and priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings weekends and extended hours during peak event seasons traveling between campus locations as needed
  • Ability to stand walk for extended periods and lift or move event-related equipment such as tables and chairs

Job Duties

  • Assist in planning and coordinating operations and administrative tasks related to event logistics including budgets invoices and purchase orders
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events such as room scheduling housing assignments catering facility setup security and media services by collaborating with various UNE departments
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact during events providing outstanding customer service to faculty professional staff clients and vendors
  • Oversee assigned programs and events ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
  • Supervise and provide guidance to student staff involved in the Summer Conference Program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
