Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent
  • six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • valid driver's license
  • must be at least 18 years old to drive Broadmoor vehicles
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • ability to work without direct supervision
  • ability to plan, prioritize and organize assignments
  • ability to resolve problems and exercise good judgment
  • ability to focus on details
  • ability to read and understand banquet event orders
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • experience with Microsoft Office and other software
  • occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
  • enthusiastic and friendly demeanor
  • strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • six months to one year related experience and/or training

  • ability to read and interpret banquet event orders (BEO)
  • ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, database software, AS400, DELPHI and Social Tables

Job Duties

  • ensure meeting rooms are open and ready for clients
  • inspect meeting rooms and event space for maintenance deficiencies
  • check meeting room set up details to ensure all rooms and venues are client ready
  • liaise between meeting/event planner and other hotel departments
  • manage and respond to meeting planner inquiries and requests
  • create door cards, signage and write shift reports
  • attend operations, BEO/pre-conference meetings to understand daily event needs
  • develop productive, professional relationships with client contacts
  • respond to requests via phone, email and in-person with professionalism
  • collaborate and communicate with guests, management, and coworkers
  • uphold all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
