Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University
  • Available to work occasional weekends
  • Maintain good conduct standing with the university
  • Must be enrolled at the university during fall and/or spring semester making academic progress towards graduation

Job Duties

  • Serve as an information source and role model for the Housing department
  • Ensure rooms are ready for guests by facilitating room and building checks and placing linens for the duration of the groups' stay
  • Coordinate with custodial and maintenance teams to prepare rooms for incoming groups
  • Prepare room keys and roster packets for each group, completing audits on keys before and after each group
  • Set up and organize spaces for group check-ins and conference activities and events in the residence hall
  • Provide on-site support and act as the secondary point of contact for conferences
  • Facilitate check-in process for groups as they arrive
