Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license CDL A or B
- Be at least 18 years of age in South Carolina, be at least 21 years of age in Georgia
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a CDL driver
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- High school diploma preferred
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to perform four basic arithmetic operations
- Must pass DOT physical, hearing test, and drug screen
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
- Capability to perform physical tasks including walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely drive the concrete mixer truck to and from destinations following DOT regulations
- Check loads to ensure product safety and proper quality
- Estimate slump and distinguish proper mix characteristics
- Verify delivery directions with plant personnel to ensure accuracy
- Maintain radio contact with Plant Manager and Customer Service Center
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Complete required logs, delivery tickets, and other paperwork
- Participate actively in safety meetings
- Keep equipment clean using approved materials
- Assist other employees as needed
- Adhere to all company safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Maintain personal appearance and professionalism at all times
- Develop positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
