Job Requirements
- Possess a Class A or Class B CDL license
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record
- Be able to maintain an active DOT qualification
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Be self-motivated and organized
- Be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Be willing to work nights, overtime, and weekends
- Be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs frequently
- Be capable of working up to 16 hours a day with driving time up to 11 hours
- Be able to perform sustained overhead reaching and tolerate working at heights up to 12 feet
- Be able to work in high noise environments and around heavy equipment
- Be able to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Be able to balance, bend, crawl, kneel, push and pull repeatedly
- Be able to tolerate outdoor weather conditions and walk on uneven surfaces
Job Qualifications
- Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL license
- Must have a clean and safe driving record
- Ability to maintain an active DOT qualification
- Ability to perform well in a team environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision
- Willingness to work nights, overtime, and weekends as required
Job Duties
- Operates and drives a ready mix truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Dolese rules and regulations
- Demonstrates an understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices at the workplace and continuously follows all safety rules
- Performs weekly maintenance, record, and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, and checking and adding fluids as needed
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner
- Visually inspects the consistency of concrete in the mixer
- Uses water hoses, brushes, and other cleaning supplies to maintain a clean mixer truck
- Completes and maintains a DOT Daily Log Book
