Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service preferably in acute health care
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use hospital databases and computer systems
  • Availability for variable 10 hour shifts including every other weekend
  • Willingness to join union within 31 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience in a customer service position preferably in an acute health care setting
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of computers

Job Duties

  • Access hospital database
  • Communicate clearly and maintain records
  • Provide active customer service
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Manage patient belongings and lost items
  • Promote teamwork and resolve problems
  • Supervise and train front desk volunteers
