Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service preferably in acute health care
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to use hospital databases and computer systems
- Availability for variable 10 hour shifts including every other weekend
- Willingness to join union within 31 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in a customer service position preferably in an acute health care setting
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of computers
Job Duties
- Access hospital database
- Communicate clearly and maintain records
- Provide active customer service
- Coordinate meetings and appointments
- Manage patient belongings and lost items
- Promote teamwork and resolve problems
- Supervise and train front desk volunteers
