Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends
- Willingness to join union within 31 days of hire
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to use computer systems and databases
- Commitment to upholding organizational values and customer service standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in acute healthcare
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and use hospital databases
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in volunteer supervision or training is preferred
Job Duties
- Access hospital database to provide information to guests
- Communicate clearly and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff
- Coordinate appointments and manage visitor wait times
- Label and coordinate patient belongings and lost and found items
- Work collaboratively with team members for problem resolution
- Train and supervise front desk volunteers
