Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends
  • Willingness to join union within 31 days of hire
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to use computer systems and databases
  • Commitment to upholding organizational values and customer service standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in acute healthcare
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and use hospital databases
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in volunteer supervision or training is preferred

Job Duties

  • Access hospital database to provide information to guests
  • Communicate clearly and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff
  • Coordinate appointments and manage visitor wait times
  • Label and coordinate patient belongings and lost and found items
  • Work collaboratively with team members for problem resolution
  • Train and supervise front desk volunteers
