Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license
- BLS certification
- Minimum one year office or clerical experience
- Ability to use multiple computer systems
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for tasks
- Ability to interact respectfully with patients and staff
- Ability to follow safety protocols in a health care environment
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Current valid Arkansas driver’s license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum one year clerical or general office experience
- Medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Excellent computer and office equipment skills
- Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Clear and concise communication abilities
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation
- Cooperative attitude toward co-workers, patients, and physicians

Job Duties
- Greet, screen, and direct patients
- Assure patients are queued for services and advise admissions of arrival
- Perform medical receptionist duties including answering phones and providing information
- Accompany patients within the center as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrators to maintain patient flow
- Investigate and document patient no-shows and notify clinical staff
- Provide back-up support and learn admission desk responsibilities
- Navigate multiple computer systems to follow patient flow and troubleshoot issues
- Obtain and update patient financial information and documentation
- Assist with patient portal management
- Serve as a resource for patient families regarding surgical processes
- Report housekeeping issues to facilities manager
- Handle unspecified mail and fax distribution
- Manage office and clinical supplies and maintain equipment
- Organize refreshment area and lobby cleanliness
- Prepare and post facility closure and directional signage
- Fulfill organizational responsibilities including respecting patient rights
- Adapt work schedules or locations as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a cooperative work attitude with team members and patients
- Promote a favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and insurers
- Make decisions to ensure quality and timely patient care outcomes
- Comply with safety sensitive role requirements
