Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a receptionist or related field
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Knowledge of multi-line telephone systems
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Demonstrated clean driving record
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with patients and employees

Job Duties

  • Greet residents, guests, visitors and vendors and assist them as needed
  • Maintain daily logs
  • Answer incoming calls, direct calls or take messages
  • Monitor Simplex fire panel for emergency situations
  • Follow procedures to report and provide assistance in emergency or disaster situations
  • Maintain radio control and contact with security and maintenance staff
  • Manage closed circuit monitor employee entrance
  • Arrange transportation for residents for appointments such as doctors' appointments and salon visits
  • Book reservations in in-house apartments for guests and oversee check-in and check-out process
  • Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of and follow all Plymouth Place policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
  • Maintain emergency information about residents and employees
  • Attend in-service and education programs
  • Provide resident wake up calls as requested
  • Monitor resident emergency pendant system and respond urgently when alerted at the front desk
  • Maintain vacation schedules of residents by documenting in the binder
  • Oversee the sign-in process at the Accushield Kiosk
  • Log resident prescriptions once received by drivers
  • Abide by company dress policy, maintaining professionalism at all times
