Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Empathy and patience in dealing with older adults
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to follow safety and COVID-19 guidelines
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

  • Familiarity with safety and emergency preparedness protocols

Job Duties

  • Watch call times/lights and inform experience team when appropriate
  • Listen and empathize to resident concerns without validating, ensuring issues are directed to the right person
  • Serve as go-to person for resident and family questions
  • Manage the Salon and visitation schedule
  • Keep emergency preparedness binders up to date
  • Build organic relationships and enhance community experiences
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, optimism, and interest in others
  • Use FRAME method to learn residents’ names, histories, and preferences
  • Focus on problem solving while maintaining confidentiality
  • Guard relationships fiercely
  • Promote community activities to residents and families
  • Collaborate and assist team members across departments
  • Maintain sales time protection and enforce vendor visit policies
  • Implement COVID-19 protocols including temperature checks and sanitation
  • Manage family visit scheduling and check-in processes
  • Greet guests sincerely and enthusiastically
  • Represent the community positively and act as a role model
  • Multitask effectively and solve problems proactively
  • Submit work orders through TELs
  • Collect 5-star reviews
  • Welcome and liaise with Thrive guests
  • Create key fobs and essential materials for new residents and team members
  • Process incoming information such as applications and resident documents
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain professional appearance, fragrance, and pace of the front desk and entry area
  • Know community layout to direct guests
  • Keep front desk and entry areas clean and tidy
  • Exhibit pleasant and professional phone etiquette including answering by the third ring, using a positive greeting, and avoiding voicemail
  • Book tours using Calendly and follow the tour and phone tree
  • Prepare welcome signs and maintain a 'red carpet ready' environment
  • Assist with orders, receipts, and paperwork for the First Impressions Director
