Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service or a healthcare environment is beneficial
- Ability to operate and maneuver manual wheelchairs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Passion for serving Veterans
Job Duties
- Escort Veterans throughout the facility including parking areas, clinics, concierge desk, and transportation areas
- Assist with clinic-to-clinic transfers
- Provide directions and walk Veterans to appointments
- Recover and reposition wheelchairs as needed
- Escort Veterans to Lyft pickup points and ensure safe departure
- Ensure continuous coverage during scheduled shifts
