Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • customer service experience
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • ability to learn new software
  • adherence to Sunrise safety protocols and training requirements
  • willingness to participate in safety and emergency procedures
  • ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • good organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply online or capture information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate greeting and identification
  • take complete messages and communicate to intended recipient
  • offer community overview to callers and manage call forwarding
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well and sympathy cards, and order Memory Flower for deceased residents
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for move-in day
  • create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in process
  • keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
  • maintain Bistro cleanliness and refreshments
  • keep music playing
  • ensure coverage of front desk when absent
  • partner with community team for compliance with health and safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE and fire extinguisher use
  • maintain resident and team member rosters for emergency procedures
  • champion Safe Leaving Program and monitor high-risk elopement list
  • respond to emergencies per Sunrise policies
  • maintain sign-in/out log for guests and residents
  • update resident phone list, move-in/move-out registers, and guest logs
  • prepare and process meal tickets and money
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post daily menu
  • maintain resident credit forms
  • assist with recruitment data entry and office supply monitoring
  • track and disperse paychecks
  • participate actively in team goals and engagement programs
  • uphold Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
  • attend team meetings and maintain training compliance
  • perform other duties as assigned
