Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Good organizational and record keeping skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to comply with safety and health policies including drug testing
  • Must meet health and vaccination requirements per federal, state, and local laws
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to perform various administrative and front desk duties
  • Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience and skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
  • Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within 2-3 rings with appropriate greeting
  • Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate to intended recipients
  • Offer and provide a community overview to callers and direct them accordingly
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well cards to residents in the hospital
  • Order Memory Flowers for deceased residents and send sympathy cards to families
  • Order flowers and nameplates for new residents prior to move-in
  • Order guest meals for move-in day
  • Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support Director of Sales with initial inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • Maintain neat and organized front desk and bistro areas, ensuring cleanliness and availability of refreshments
  • Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
  • Maintain rosters for emergency procedures
  • Respond to emergencies according to policies
  • Ensure guests and residents sign in and out
  • Maintain high-risk elopement list and monitor entry and exit
  • Update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, and guest logs
  • Prepare meal tickets and collect money according to procedures
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Post and display daily menu
  • Maintain resident forms for credits
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate actively in team goals and engagement programs
  • Attend meetings and maintain compliance with training requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
