Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferably in hospitality
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and moving supplies up to 75 lbs on carts
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 2 miles during shift
  • Ability to operate laundry and flatbed carts
  • Ability to work in varying conditions including hot, cold, wet and noisy environments
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and calmly
  • Manual dexterity to fold towels and handle beverages
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple interruptions
  • Ability to maintain neat and clean appearance
  • Ability to adhere to attendance policies
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly
  • Strong social skills to effectively deal with internal and external guests using patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Ability to relate to all levels of management and employees
  • Ability to listen and respond to guest inquiries with a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Knowledge of proper use of spa equipment and ability to instruct guests
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to remain calm and alert during emergencies or heavy hotel activity
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to maintain attendance standards

Job Duties

  • Consistently ensures cleanliness of all spa and fitness areas
  • Provides guest with tour of locker room and explains available amenities in a courteous and timely manner
  • Appropriately dispenses towels, robes, slippers and refreshments to guests
  • Removes and stores dirty linens according to procedures
  • Performs laundry duties including washing, drying and folding linen
  • Monitors locker rooms and replenishes supplies regularly
  • Assists guest flow of services from locker room to professional staff
  • Informs facility management of any member, guest or facility issues
  • Knowledgeable about the facility, property and its amenities to effectively communicate with guests
  • Reports any incidents or accidents to management
  • Other duties as assigned
