Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week with flexibility for evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift, carry and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects daily
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and use hands and arms

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of customer service or event planning experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to learn new technology such as event software
  • Sewing and wardrobe experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with artists and tour staff

Job Duties

  • Handle advancing for guest artists including ground transportation, hotel accommodations, hospitality and catering
  • Purchase and order required items and equipment
  • Maintain and launder table linens and towels
  • Work with chef and caterers to develop meal menus for guest artists and crews
  • Schedule, supervise and train artist concierges and runners
  • Arrange artist Meet & Greets and VIP Events with donors and patrons
  • Serve as point-of-contact for tour staff during show days
  • Research and maintain relationships with local vendors
  • Participate in weekly Events meetings
  • Code monthly expenses and approve timesheets
  • Order crew hospitality items and maintain conference room services
  • Assist Events Team with internal events as needed
  • Drive a 14-person van and rent vehicles when required
