Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred
- Background clearance as required by government regulations
- Negative TB test results
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to operate computers, software programs and office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, and move intermittently throughout the day
- Ability to push residents safely in wheelchairs
- Must be professional in appearance and behavior at all times
- Compliance with grooming and dress standards
- Willingness to work Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM
Job Qualifications
- Background clearance as required by government regulations
- Negative TB test results
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, write and read English
- Ability to operate computer and necessary software programs including word processing, email, spreadsheets
- Ability to operate scanners, copiers, and fax machines
- Ability to maintain professionalism with team members, residents, family members, and visitors
- Adherence to grooming and dress standards to present the best image
Job Duties
- Arrive to work on time and prepared for your shift
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance keeping the front entrance, lobby, and reception areas clean and organized
- Warmly greet and offer assistance to all visitors entering the community
- Answer telephones within three rings using a professional and courteous voice following the designated script
- Transfer calls or take and deliver appropriate messages
- Monitor all visitors, ensuring sign-in and sign-out while reporting suspicious activity to supervisors
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Accept and report resident's special requests
- Maintain community lost and found
- Order and replenish administrative supplies as necessary
- Follow all safety standards when operating office equipment
- Support department heads and Executive Directors in administrative functions
- Maintain and check off meal attendance tracking form alerting staff of residents needing room services
- Display a positive and professional image through actions and dress in accordance with MBK Principles and Core values
- Encourage teamwork through open communication with Team Members
- Perform other duties as assigned by front desk supervisor or executive director
