Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior concierge or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system
  • energetic and enthusiastic
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • minimum one year experience in a business office environment
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • capable of handling light physical effort including occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds
  • able to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently
  • comfortable with frequent interruptions and interacting with residents, family members and visitors

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system
  • prior concierge or hospitality experience preferred
  • energetic and enthusiastic with exceptional communication skills
  • good organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • minimum one-year experience in a business office environment
  • strong clerical skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • must be able to read, write and speak English
  • excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Screens incoming calls
  • takes messages and/or forwards calls as appropriate
  • greets and signs in all visitors
  • provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests, and vendors
  • sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • provides clerical assistance including typing correspondence, memorandums, reports, forms
  • receives event and guest apartment reservations
  • updates census, resident directory and birthday list
  • provides basic information to inquirers and ensures marketing brochures are available
  • responds to Emergency Call System and building alarm system
  • administers Stat Check System
  • conducts periodic interior rounds to ensure building security
  • processes work orders and manages office equipment and supplies
  • provides effective and courteous service to residents, guests and co-workers
  • handles resident emergencies in the absence of Resident Services Director
  • other duties as assigned
