Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- experience in customer service roles
- proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- strong organizational and time management skills
- familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- willingness to engage with residents, families, and team members positively and professionally
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- readiness to maintain compliance with all training requirements
- capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- attention to detail in record keeping and administrative functions.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply online or capture their information into the Applicant Tracking System to launch recruitment
- answer incoming calls and resident calls within two to three rings with the appropriate community greeting message and identification
- take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to the intended recipient
- offer and provide a community overview to callers, determine who to forward the caller to, and notify them accordingly
- manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- send get well cards to residents in hospital
- order memory flower for residents who have passed away
- send sympathy cards to families as needed
- order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move in
- order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
- create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- support the Director of Sales by handling initial inquiry calls and encourage interest in Sunrise Senior Living
- assist in Customer Relationship Management lead tracking database entry
- keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- check Bistro regularly for cleanliness and refreshments
- maintain music playing throughout the day
- ensure front desk coverage when stepping away
- partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, and Lockout Tagout procedures
- maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergencies
- champion the Safe Leaving Program
- respond to emergencies as per policy
- maintain sign-in and sign-out records for guests and residents
- update resident phone list, move-in and move-out registers, and guest logs
- prepare and tally meal tickets and collect money accordingly
- organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- post daily menu
- assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
- monitor and order office supplies
- track and disperse team member paychecks
- participate actively in team goals and commitment
- maintain compliance with required training
- perform other duties as assigned.
