Job Requirements

  • Experience as a concierge or customer service role preferred
  • One to two years working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as a point of contact for needs, requests, and complaints for all residents, families, guests, vendors, and staff
  • Provide positive and memorable customer service by understanding the customer's identity and needs
  • Assist customers with personalized solutions to their requests and concerns
  • Answer phone calls promptly within three rings and route calls or relay information appropriately
  • Take detailed messages including name, date, time, and return phone number and ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate resident and family services such as dry cleaning, grocery delivery, dinner reservations, beauty services, event tickets, and transportation
  • Follow up after services to confirm satisfaction
  • Connect with new residents and families within the first week to welcome them and explain concierge services
  • Provide information and direction to community resources
  • Manage the community transportation schedule, monitor sign-up sheets, and confirm arrangements
  • Liaise between culinary department and guests for meal reservations and provide confirmations
  • Make reminder calls for residents regarding dining and community events
  • Maintain security procedures including monitoring sign-in and sign-out logs
  • Keep reception, lobby, and welcome area clean, safe, and organized
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail and packages
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
