Job Requirements
- Previous experience in luxury hotel industry
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for entire 8-hour shift
- Knowledge of surrounding Dallas area and attractions
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
- Residence within 50 miles of the hotel
Job Qualifications
- Previous luxury hotel experience
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail orientation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of Dallas area attractions
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Go-Concierge and Opera preferred
Job Duties
- Arrange bookings and reconfirm airline tickets
- Be fully acquainted with local points of interest
- Assist in arranging restaurant reservations and limousine services
- Ensure delivery of parcels, mail, and special deliveries to guest rooms
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby in partnership with housekeeping
- Accept special duties as required by management
- Set up amenities for guests celebrating special occasions
- Arrange special packages including pre-calls and specialized amenities
- Interact with other departments to satisfy guest needs
- Greet guests warmly to make them feel welcome
- Proactively seek ways to improve the hotel experience
- Handle special requests such as flowers, telegrams, rental cars, luggage forwarding, and private cars
- Perform other duties as assigned
